Childbirth Education for the Modern Mother
Educated and informed is a good look on you, mama….
Announced your pregnancy? Check. Posted on social media? Check. Took your first bump picture? Check. Created the perfect baby registry? Check. Hired your doula? Check! Created your supportive birth team? Yup! Look at you, covering all the important bases. So what’s left? Perhaps one of the most important parts of preparing for your birth; learning what to expect and what to do when the big day is actually here.
Here’s the reality:
Learning about comfort measures, what’s happening in your body, the stages of labor, how to be a supportive birth partner, and how to achieve your ideal birth isn’t going to happen in the moment when adrenaline is high and nerves are strong. Before you’re actually in labor is the best time to pack your toolbox with strategies and skills to use during labor! Walking into your birth with fear of the unknown doesn’t have to be your reality. You can trade fear for confidence, ignorance for knowledge, and nervousness with empowerment. In my classes, I teach you how to reach your birth goals by filling your birth toolbox with tangible strategies and methods to help you feel prepared, empowered, and confident on your big day.
