About The Doula & Educator
With years spent in the education world, I’ve always had a passion for knowledge, best practices, and information. It wasn’t until the start of my own fertility journey that this fervor quickly turned from students in the classroom to women’s health. After seeing the large gaps of information many women aren’t provided in the fertility, birth, and postpartum world, I decided to stop rolling my eyes and started rolling up my sleeves to become part of the solution. It’s now my joy & passion to put information back in the hands of modern mamas so they feel prepared & confident making choices for their body and their families.
I’m a childbirth and breastfeeding educator & trained fertility, birth, and postpartum doula. I’m passionate about providing modern, unbiased, and evidence-based support to mothers as they walk through their journey becoming parents in this modern world.
When I’m not spending time with my husband, chasing my toddler around, or diving into a birthy book, you can find me steaming up a latte in my kitchen—probably with a podcast on—binging The Office, Golden Girls, or Gilmore Girls for the 1000th time (yikes), or dining on a local foodie meal.

About My Philosophy
Mothers have been giving birth since the beginning of time.
The sacredness of birth hasn’t changed—the world in which mothers birth has.
In today’s information overloaded world, it can be hard to drown out the varying voices of mixed opinions and tune into your mother’s intuition with research-based guidance.
Parents, partners, friends and loved ones often have well meaning advice and support, but it can be hard to determine what it is you want to decide is best for you and your baby.
There are countless decisions to be made and plans to be created for pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Often times, it’s much easier to receive help and support from a third party professional. That’s where I step in as your doula!
I walk alongside you as you step into your new role as mother.
Your job is taking care of the baby.
My job is to take care of you.
With this network of support, your new growing family is surrounded with guidance from a professional who will help you achieve your best birth and postpartum experience as defined by YOU.
You lean into your intuition as a mama,
I’ll support you with evidenced-based information, resources, and guidance each step of the way.
There’s no one right way to birth a baby.
There’s no one right way to raise a child.
There’s no one right way to be a mother.
There is a way to walk out your modern motherhood in a way that’s SUPPORTED, GROUNDED, and ENCOURAGED.
That’s with a doula.
Modern mothers realize that it does take a village to bring a child into this world. Here at Modern Motherhood Birth Co., we’re proud to be a vital part of that village.
We mother the mother—providing unbiased, evidence-based, and compassionate support through each phase of your journey through motherhood.
